This week almost didn’t have a blog post. But here I am. Phew. Recently I’ve made a couple changes in my life and I’ve found myself more out of the house than the past couple of weeks (at least since I’ve started this blog). I joined a gym about two weeks ago. On top of the gym, work, cross stitching, and spending time with family, my blog has taken a bit of a backseat. However, like most people, I’m glued to my phone every other minute of the day. So of course I’ve grown a little collection of apps I like to use to keep up with posts, social media and promotion.

When I relaunched my blog, not only did I want to increase traffic but I also wanted to find ways that I could monetize my blog.
That’s when I discovered Michelle Schroeder-Gardner’s course Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought I’d take a look back at one of my favourite TV shows – How I Met Your Mother. The show focuses on Ted Mosby who tells his son and daughter the story of how he met their mother. Ted recounts all the stories of his friends (Marshall, Lily, Robin and Barney) and past girlfriends. The show had everything in it – comedy, drama, and definitely romance.
In this post, I’ll share my top 5 favourite episodes, in no particular order. Picking from 9 seasons was no easy task. If you’ve never watched the show (or never finished the series, in which case what are you waiting for?!), this is your warning that this post contains spoilers.
Love it or hate it, Valentines Day is coming up next week. It’s looking like I will be single for Valentines Day this year (not that it’s really that important to me anyway). I’m pretty sure I’ll be spending the night working because #worklife. Anyways, I’m here to write about a craft that I made last year for my partner at the time.
If you’re looking for an easy gift for your special someone, try this one out!
Admittedly, my cross stitch hobby has taken a backseat to other priorities in my life over the past few months. This blog being one of those priorities. But now that it’s up and running, I’ve decided that it’s time to get back into it. To keep my inspiration up, I’m challenging myself to complete one cross stitch every month. It might not seem like much, but I just don’t have the time to stay home and stitch for hours on end. So one completed piece in a month should be doable. I even created a tag for it so that you (and I) can keep track of how I’m doing at the beginning and end of the month. In the words of Barney Stinson, challenge accepted!
