Friday Favourites | KathleenCG.com

Lucky me got sick earlier this week, meaning I got to spend more time at home and work on cross stitching. I haven’t forgotten about my cross stitch challenge (new post about that will come next week, promise!). But today I wanted to share some of my favourites of the week. Most of my recent blog posts have been about blogging so I thought, hey why not start a new series where I share some of the things I’m liking this week.

What I’m Listening To

This past Sunday, I went to Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman Tour. I love Ariana and have been following her since her Victorious days. This was my first time seeing her live in concert and I loved every minute. Except for the fact that I got sick the morning of the concert. She played her whole Dangerous Woman album in full, and added in some of her older tracks as well.

British pop girl group Little Mix was one of the opening acts. I used listen to Little Mix but haven’t followed any of their newer music. However I started listening to them more leading up to the concert and now I have their latest album Glory Days on repeat. My favourites on it are Touch, Oops, and Beep Beep. If you love catchy dance tracks and strong women with lovely singing voices, you’ll love Little Mix.

What I’m Reading

Since Netflix released their take on A Series of Unfortunate Events, I’ve decided to reread the book series. I still have the books sitting on my bookshelf from my childhood. Funny story actually. So I own books 1-5 and then 9 and 10. I’m sure I borrowed books 6-8 from friends to read them. But after thinking about it, I don’t actually think I finished the series until the very end. I’m currently on book 5 (The Austere Academy). This time around I plan to actually finish the books.

What I’m Watching

I’m a slight bit late on this one, but I’ve been watching Riverdale on Netflix. When I was younger, I was never into Archie. But Riverdale is definitely my kind of show. It focuses on Archie, Betty, Jughead and Veronica as they go through their days filled with love, friendship and of course, mystery. Netflix releases a new episode every week and I’m sitting here waiting anxiously to see what happens next.

That’s all I have for this week! What are your favourites this week? Let me know in the comments!
