This April was spent completing a Pokemon cross stitch, which is a commission for a coworker of mine who requested I make him something after he saw my ‘Home Sweet Home’ piece.
Pokemon Cross Stitch
My coworker sent me what he wanted done. It was a drawing of the original starters – Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Because it was a drawing, I had to make my own pattern. I used an app called Bead Master to create a pixelated pattern. However, I realized that it was not going to work out.
I decided to scope out online and see if anyone had cross stitched the same picture. Luckily, I found someone who did and after a few messages, I was able to buy the pattern (check it out here).
It took me about a month to complete this due to work and having gone to Ottawa for a few days. I’m glad it’s finished. I’m really proud of how this cross stitch turned out. Here it is!
For May, I’m thinking I might do one of two things. I’ll either create something for myself, or I might make a cross stitch that I can use for a giveaway 😉 But that will take some time to complete. Guess you’ll have to stay tuned to see what’s next!
