The Happiest Place On Earth: My Week in California

    My Week in California |

If you follow me on Instagram then you already know – I spent last week in California! I don’t even know where to begin in writing about my trip… but it was nothing short of magical. Having worked most of my summer and fall away, I thought, hey why not take a vacation? It’s about time I treat myself to some time off. A good friend of mine moved down there last year, and since I’ve never been to California (or any of the west coast really), this turned out to be the perfect opportunity to go visit her and explore.

    Makeup Haul Fall 2016

    Makeup Fall 2016 Haul |

I realize that if I don’t make the time to write here, this will never take off. So here I am with blog post #3. If you know me, you know that I love makeup. Sephora had its 20% off VIB sale last weekend and my order came in a few days ago, so I’m going to share my first (and most definitely not the last) haul post!

    Cross Stitching: Tips for Beginners

    Cross Stitching Do's and Don'ts |

A little over six months ago, I took up the hobby of cross stitching. I had a couple friends who had crafty hobbies (knitting, perlers, etc.) and I was inspired to take up something crafty myself. So I started cross stitching. Happy Birthday to Me?

    Happy Birthday To Me

    Welcome to my new website!

After my old Katpics website fell to its untimely demise (RIP), I decided it would be a good idea to start fresh. As you might be able to tell from the title of this blog post, today is my birthday! I turn 25 today. Not stoked about getting old but that’s life right? It’s crazy to think that I am halfway through my 20s. Last week, I was thinking about getting back into blogging, so I thought why not start now as I turn another year older and start a new chapter of my life. Writing makes me happy, this can’t be that hard right?

I’ve always loved writing but I could never seem to keep up with writing blogs. This time I’m determined to keep this going. Join me as I write about music, makeup, crafts and¬†whatever adventures come my way!
